Alphie

The deadly robosaurus. It picked up the cars and trucks you see in the center of the field, toasted tham and ate them.

Alphie ready to ride.  The photo was shot with a 25A filter because I'd been shooting infrared film and had become desensitized to seeing everything through the red filter.  It was actually a surprise when the prints came back.  This was scanned in black and white.

  Alphie and his sister Rachel.  I don't remember for sure, but think this was taken backstage at ISB when they were in the play, The King and I.

  A couple of Alphie's creations.  He loved making robots from stuff laying around the room.  He and his sister probably built these when he was about 5 or 6.

Brina and Alphie constructed these weird little guys from the retainer boards on their bunkbeds. after getting them lined up, they wanted them photographed.

  A pet praying mantis.  He was four or five inches long, a big guy.  Alphie named him "Hotcolor."  We have no idea what the name means but who can say what is a proper name for a praying mantis.
